“As a healer, the goal is to shift from being a rescuer to being an empowerer.”
This is a Become an Unstoppable Woman episode that I have been working on for a LONG time.
Discussing the concept of healing for healers has been sitting in my brain just waiting to come out, but it wasn’t until recently that I had an epiphany about this healer concept.
Now if you’re reading this and not sure if you’re a healer or not, you’ll know very soon. Because if the term ‘healer’ resonates with you, you’re probably in this category.
What is a healer? A healer is a person or thing that mends or repairs something, or wants to alleviate distress and anguish.
There are many types of professions that healers are drawn to, like teachers, nurses, therapists, coaches, moms, and even artists. But for the sake of this episode and in the coaching world, I think of being a healer as a state of mind, regardless of your profession.
A healer walks around with the thought of, “I want to make it better.” And as healers walk around working towards healing what’s around them, it’s easy for them to neglect what they need for themselves: their own healing.
Today, if you relate to being a healer, I want to start to give you that healing for yourself.
YOU’LL START TO HEAL BY LEARNING:
- Why it’s important for you to be around people with a similar energy frequency
- The 3 different stages I take my clients through, beginning with healer
- Why healers are so often burnt out
- The steps to heal as a healer
- Common codependent behaviors that come up for healers
…and so much more.
I’m a healer myself and I absolutely love my healer clients. But sometimes our priorities get skewed by our people pleasing tendencies and desire to fix those around us. Today, you’re going to start to learn to focus on yourself. Because your healing instinct can and should be used to better YOU too.
