We all want fewer problems in our life, right? Sometimes it can be as simple as paying attention to what’s around us to do just that. Here are 3 ways to have fewer problems in your life.
START LISTENING TO THE MESSAGES IN YOUR LIFE
Messages are 7+ second triggers of a “negative” emotion. These are typically things you blow off as a fluke accident from a hard day or your hormones.
THIS IS NOT THE CASE! Hormones and hard days only MAGNIFY what we’re feeling inside. These 7+ second triggers are a MESSAGE to you that there are deeper feelings that need to be addressed and healed inside of you.
A way to start hearing the MESSAGES more is by journaling or meditating. In both practices, you can ask yourself, how am I feeling and see what comes out. Ask yourself what from your past could be contributing to your present feelings.
IF YOU DON’T LISTEN TO THE MESSAGES, THEY TURN INTO LESSONS
LESSONS are bigger emotional outbursts without anything biological to blame anymore. Instead, you start to blame others more. Your relationships start to suffer even more because of this.
You can’t shake the once emotional MESSAGE anymore that was a brief trigger of negativity, it’s now instead of a longer feeling of negativity like sadness or anger.
You’re feeling heavier, stuck and like you may need help to get you through this.
This is typically when a counselor or life coach (like myself) is hired because the things that once worked aren’t working anymore. The feelings of fed up and over it is felt often.
If help is asked for and received well, you can not only heal the lesson, but you’ll likely heal the messages and get tools to not reach the lesson phase again.
IF LESSONS AREN’T TAKEN CARE OF, THEY BECOME PROBLEMS
Problems are when the “shit hits the fan.” There’s drama. You’ve gotten hurt physically, emotionally, mentally and/or sexually at this point. You’re emotionally rocky. You may even have a lawyer involved. You feel like you need medication to get through it. When you’re in this phase, the goal is to get through it as best you can (a counselor can help in this phase, but not a life coach).
Then, once you get back onto a more solid ground in a MESSAGE or LESSON phase and then seek help from a life coach or action-oriented counselor.
THE GOAL IS TO LISTEN TO THE MESSAGES SO YOU DON’T HAVE LESSONS OR PROBLEMS IN YOUR LIFE
